This clay was harvested in Petrovče, Slovenia from an abandoned mine in the middle of agricultural grasslands. It was mixed with Kaolin to create the white landscape in which the lower temperature clay and rocks push out of, creating various different textures, some of them melted and glossy. This vase has been fired to 1250 C and is watertight.
